FrKeys is a program by Patrick Smears that facilitates the typing of foreign characters in all current versions of Windows.

A new, extended Version 3.0 is available for Windows 2000 & Windows XP. Registered users of the earlier Version 2.0 qualify for 30% discount on Version 3.0.

Using FrKeys you do not need to remember convoluted combinations of keys or grapple with the Alt key and the Number Pad. FrKeys places a small toolbar containing the foreign character keys at the top of your application. Instead of typing the foreign characters you just click once with the left mouse button and the character appears at the insert caret. French, German and Spanish characters are supplied with FrKeys, and you can add extra character sets using a character creation facility within the program. Mathematical symbols can also be inserted in the same way as foreign characters. FrKeys can be networked.

The new Windows 2000 / XP version contains many new features, including a facility for adding the full International Phonetic Alphabet and character sets for Hebrew, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, etc.
