Melvin is a package of teaching games and activities for introducing and revising any of the official EU languages (including Welsh) and comes complete with over 1000 colour images that cover all the GCSE topics for Modern Forein Languages.

Designed for the interactive whiteboard, Melvin starts with a section entitled Introducing the language where built-in annotation tools and on-screen keyboards enable you to introduce any of the 54 topics that come preloaded with Melvin.

12 whole class games use interactivity and competition to reinforce the target language. Games include such familiar formats as: 4 in a Row, Hangman and Snakes and Ladders.

A print wizard allows for the creation of board games that can be laminated as a permanent resource.

Custom topics and labels provide flexiblility and enable pre-lesson preparation of materials.

Melvin is designed to complement your existing investment in teaching resources and to be useful to the whole MFL department. This makes Melvin an extremely cost-effective way of maximizing the use of your interactive whiteboards across the department. There is also a student version of Melvin for individual or small group use that comprises just the games and images.
