Lack of training lies at the root of the anxiety displayed by language teachers towards new technologies. Graham Davies, one of Camsoft’s partners, has produced an extensive range of training materials for language teachers, the most comprehensive being the ICT for Language Teachers website at http://www.ict4lt.org and the accompanying CD-ROM, which is available from Camsoft. Click here for further information: ICT4LT CD-ROM. Graham Davies is the Academic Coordinator of the ICT for Language Teachers project. He has also worked as a NOF trainer and has recently been producing e-learning training materials for the Standards Unit of the DCSF.
A selection of free training materials and links to resources and articles produced by Graham Davies is available at Camsoft's website. Click here: Freestuff.

If you require more information, detailed descriptions of our products and services and prices can be found in our downloadable catalogue, including information on ordering, terms of trading and making payments. Please note: we are a mail order business. There's no shop!
Email: You can email us initially only via our Contact Form. This is so that we can identify you as a genuine enquirer. We do not display our email address publicly, and we ask other webmasters not to do so either. This is in the interests of email security. You may, however, publicise and link to our website homepage (this page): http://www.camsoftpartners.co.uk
Online ordering: First, email us via our Contact Form to check that the goods you require are in stock. We will then email you to confirm the price. If you wish to pay by credit card, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta, Solo. You should notify us of your credit card details only by telephone or fax (see above). Using email or our Contact Form is insecure - recent tightening up of security regulations by our credit card company forbids us to accept such details online.
Before ordering, please make sure that your equipment is suitable for the software that you wish to purchase. If you are unsure please contact us by telephone, fax or email.
Educational institutions and businesses must submit an official order on headed paper or on an official order form, bearing an order number or other form of authorisation, by post, by fax or as an email attachment.
Credit is limited strictly to 30 days, after which interest is charged. Under no circumstances can invoices be issued in advance of the supply of the goods. Invoices requesting payment are sent out to customers at the same time as the goods.
Private individuals must pay for goods in advance, either by direct transfer to Camsoft's bank account, by sterling cheque, or by credit or debit card. Bank transfer charges must be borne by the customer.
Postage and packing are added to most orders and vary according to the weight of the package. Postage and packing are charged at actual cost.
VAT (Value Added Tax) is charged at the rate of 15% on the total cost of orders posted to UK and other European Union addresses, but non-UK European Union businesses and educational institutions that are VAT-registered do not have to pay UK VAT, providing they can quote their national VAT registration number.
The following credit and debit cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta, Solo.
Overseas customers must pay for goods in advance, either in sterling by direct transfer to Camsoft's bank account, by sterling cheque, or by credit card. All orders are billed and charged in pounds sterling, but an additional invoice displaying the amount due in the local currency can be provided on request. If an overseas customer pays by credit card the final amount due will be converted to the customer's local currency by the credit card company at the prevailing exchange rate. Unfortunately, we cannot accept payments by cheque or bank transfer in foreign currencies due to the exorbitant charges imposed by banks. Cheques must be made payable in pounds sterling drawn on a UK bank. Transfers must be made in pounds sterling, and bank transfer charges must be borne by the customer. Duties and taxes associated with overseas orders will increase the final payment due. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay all import tariffs, brokerage fees and any other costs related to delivering the goods. Please note that this is in addition to the cost of your order and delivery charges. Camsoft recommends that overseas customers check on all fees, practices and local import tariffs prior to placing the order. The customer will be responsible for return freight charges should delivery of the goods be refused or if the goods cannot be delivered for any other reason.
Bank account: Details of Camsoft's bank account will be provided on request. For security reasons we do not display this information on the Web.
Terms and conditions of trading: Terms.
